"This coach is not positive at all. He lacks empathy, does not develop his players, and functions in an atmosphere of only playing his family and close friends of his family. Many of the players transfer out of the school because he creates such a depressing mood. If you try to talk to him to understand what you need to do, his response is so underwhelming that it makes you feel dejected, hurt, and genuinely confused. You have no idea why he won't play you because when you ask, he says it doesn't matter. He is not good for the mental health of players. My experience was so bad that I had to give up playing a game I have played for most of my life because of his blatant disregard for my efforts to play. No amount of talking to him or trying to improve persuades him to give you a chance. I love the school but really feel beyond disappointed with this coach and his program. The team culture is happy if you are in his clique but sad and angry if you are not. I do not have a memorable story to tell because the overall feeling is beyond the realm of understanding the consistent mental abuse he delivers to his players. I do not recommend this basketball program unless you want to sit on the bench for 4 years."
"Terrible coach. Have never been a part of a worse program in my entire life. Never comes to practice and if he does it's 10-30 minutes late EVERY day. Brings his newborn child to practice to sit upstairs and watch us practice leaving no drills or instruction. Disrespects his own players and other coaches..lies almost every day. #doafavorandstayaway"
"Laziest, most unorganized coach I have ever experienced in my entire 15 years of playing tennis. Not only lies to his players' faces, but to the athletic department as well. Shows up to practice once a week if lucky and the only time he will show up, he brings his baby and does not give us any drills. STAY AWAY!!! Also, NO spring break trips. "
"One of the worst coaches I have ever been around. Showed up late to practice, didn't participate, no new drills. It was terrible. Would bring his kid to practice and sit upstairs with it all practice and never coach. He was disinterested and lackadaisical. The school and this program are terrible. Stay away! "
"Heather is so easy to talk to. She gets straight to the point, yet makes sure you understand what she is talking about. She cares about the mental health as well as the physical health of all athletes, and she regularly checks in with her frequent flyers to see how school is going as well. I would not have gotten through my 4 years if it wasn't for the amazing AT staff at St. Norbert, but especially Heather. She would go out of her way to make sure I was taken care of whenever I needed."
"a fun coach to have who understands the emotions of being a DIII student-athlete and the physical demands of the game, as she was one herself for the same coaches at SNC. Goofy and easy to talk to about anything. Very respectful and Christ-like."
