"I’ve never had a coach not believe in me anymore. She’s the absolute worst and plays favorites. Absolutely the worst human being I’ve ever been around. Don’t play for her. Don’t do it. "
"Coach Farwell is a wonderful person. He takes time out of his day to be there for you and only wants the best for you. He is a great recruiter and when he recruits he looks at a holistic overview as oppose to just start political characteristics like where you row for, but moreover who the person is to the core. Be on his team if you can. "
"Coach Filter is a fantastic baseball mind and a great leader for the program as a whole. He leads by example with his commitment to team values and passion for the game. One of his greatest strengths is his honesty, someone that will truly call it as it is, but offers solutions or input on how to improve when this honesty comes in the form of criticism. His pedigree as a pitching coach speaks for itself and he puts a high emphasis on players leaving his program prepared for whatever professionals endeavors they choose whether or not that is professional baseball. "
"One of the most disingenuous head coaches in Division 1 softball today. Is 2-faced and treats players like cattle. Takes no accountability whatsoever for failure and pins it squarely on players. Woos and courts players into thinking they’ll be part of a positive environment and then treats players like garbage. There’s a reason why the best player on the team is trying to get out of there and entered the transfer portal. "
"This guy is a great recruiter, no doubt. Terrible coach though. Bad communicator, disorganized, dishonest, turns on his players with the most minor inconveniences, and clearly picks favorites. He also set up cameras in the showers and when I asked him about them he cut me immediately "
"Felipe is a great presence for our team, he's very understanding of the needs of individual athletes. Super cool and humble guy, and gets better as a coach every year. Would definitely recommend. If you need an intense coach, he's not your guy, but is absolutely better than most. "
"Positives: Has your back with game situations (refs), invites you into home for events.
Negatives: Doesn't care for you as a person, Never made a connection to me or my family in all four years I've been under him, Shows favorites, Lies, Makes everything based around his time and his life and doesn't consider others (school, travel, etc.)"
"Positives: he has your back in games. He has good intentions. Negatives: he does not practice what he preaches, poor communication with the team, cannot work well under pressure of games, not great at player development, doesn’t Always play to his player/team strengths, not Well suited to coaching women. "
"Honestly, doesn't belong in the women's basketball world. He's a cool guy off the court, and he tries. But he is not receptive to any critique or constructive criticism from players who are trying to help the team out. Gets offended when people ask him stuff. Runs robot plays for a 1/2 guard oriented offense even if his best players are otherwise. "
"Someone you know that you can depend on both on and off the field. Recognizes that her players are more than athletes and is genuinely interesting in being a support system for their academic and personal lives."

"During my time playing at SCU, I’ve experienced multiple coaching staffs and Coach Carbs was by far the best. She made my time playing there enjoyable and really brought the team chemistry together. She truly cares about each player and takes a genuine interest in their well-being beyond the field."
"Great coach, pushes you to be better while still encouraging you throughout the process, great people managing skills and cares about the wholistic development of the student-athlete"
"Felipe is the best coach for development as a runner. He wants every athlete to have a unique training plan that's best for them. And he's just a really awesome and cool guy that has a great relationship with every one of his athletes."
"Okay person, horrible coach. Players are never put first. Lacks basic soccer knowledge and is too old school for the growing intensity and popularity of the sport. "
"He's a great guy, but having to coach both teams definitely is a disadvantage. It takes away from his ability to truly focus on any one team, especially during the off season. All around, he does a good job the team and has been making strides this year to be a better coach. However I will say he needs strong leaders on the team for true success. "
"Farwell always gets the boys smiling when the time is right, especially with his motivational speeches. He can be pretty intense when he needs to be, but not to the point where he's unapproachable. He works well with the team and keeps us excited for everything, even 2ks..."
"I do not give Krystal a good coaching review. She was not consistent with qualifying outcomes, meaning she hand-picked the traveling team and played favorites. She is not open to good communication as she might say or act during the recruiting process. She does not facilitate an atmosphere of trust. Connections are a weakness of this coach and this program, so if your dream is to play after college or to get connected in the golf world, I would not go to Santa Clara."
