"When my mom and I had went on a visit to southeastern, it was a nice campus however very small and not very active. When I went to go meet the athletes they were nice but very surface level. After that, the rest of the visit I had no interactions with the athletes and heard that there was drama within the girls sprint team so they weren’t very close and that wasn’t something I wanted to be apart of. I could tell the coach was good and I liked his coaching style, however on the visit we didn’t go to breakfast, lunch, or dinner and didn’t seem that interested to have a long visit."
"The campus is very small, but they do have a very nice weight room and indoor turf area. They lack a nutrition center and what you see is what you get."
"Coach dedicated time to my athlete and he and athletes did everything they could to make my athlete feel welcome. Campus is small and somewhat rural. The tour was nice. "
"He is one of the most intelligent Coaches I have had the opportunity to meet. His knowledge of the game is off the charts. Players that want to succeed and learn the most will thrive in his organization. Players that are selfish or self centered will not do well as he holds everyone accountable for their actions as well as himself. He has a way of coaching that can turn mistakes into valuable learning points in the future. People that talk ill of him do so because they failed to be a team player or there for the right reasons. Amazing Coach and Better person. "
"Played for coach Faubion for 2 years at Southeastern OSU, the reason he gets a bad reputation is because of his old school style of coaching. If you can’t handle being held responsible for your mistakes on & off the field, then he isn’t the coach for you. His softball IQ is through the roof & taught me so much as a player and soon to be coach. I still talk to him even after college & he only wants the best for us players. He goes above & beyond for past athletes who need jobs or a job recommendation. Overall, he is a great coach & an even better person. I’ve had past teammates who hated the old man, but those were girls who were selfish & only thought highly of themselves. If you’re a team player & can handle a tough coach, this is a great man to play & learn from!!"
"Very poor coach. There is a reason why there is practically an entirely new team every year. He doesn't care about his athletes, winning, or improvement. As long as you follow his ridiculous rules he will praise the ground you walk on."
"He is dishonest, cheater, gambler and foul. He has zero experience with hitting or batting. He was arrested for assault of a UCO official. He assaulted a player in 2016 and the school did nothing. He lies to parents and players. Run from this program."
"Was one of the worst experiences of my life. I gave this coach and program 4 years and he ruined my personal life. SE is a great University that is the reason I stayed."
