"The worst coach I’ve ever experienced. Completely unprofessional, plays favorites shamelessly, creates chaotic and pointless practices, and offers no real development. She brings personal drama and bad moods into the practices, tears players down instead of building them up, and fuels team toxicity rather than managing it. Her behavior is erratic, her attitude unprofessional, and her leadership nonexistent. She is the textbook example of how not to coach at the collegiate level."
"Riley is a great coach. He watches everyone run regardless of how many people he has to coach. You could be doing 55m sprint and just watch the whole thing. He talks to you during your rest time between sets and asks how they are going as well. He has to watch so many athletes at once and he does it so well, sometimes it seems like he's the head coach. "
"Being coached by him ain’t great. Majority of the time you have to coach yourself mainly. He really cares about the track team and no one from the cross country team unless your his two favorites. You ask what to do better and doesn’t give you answer and just says we’ll see. Doesn’t watch you run at all. Is on his phone all the time and majority of the time you might not talk to him at all for the whole week. Let alone after a meet he won’t say good job to you after a meet cause he’s busy watching someone else who isn’t even on his team or talking to another coach. "
"Knows the Xs and Os really well, cannot handle having staff that answer to him. Plays favorites including among his coaching staff refusing to fire a toxic incompetent defensive coordinator among others including a very racist Oline coach, who are the biggest cause of his average win %. He also simultaneously ran great coaching out of town.
He also plays favorites among players, some punitively punished, others bailed out of criminal charges. He wastes big scholarship $ on players and then forces them into the starting lineup even when they can’t keep up, while upper class men fight for scholarship scraps and lose snaps to inferior players.
He also allowed a coach to implement daily board drills at practice that had no practical purpose, that caused numerous needless concussions to.
Insanely smart man with a marker and white board, seems like he operates well with his handful of QBs but is a terrible leader from a macro perspective "
"Jamie Dunn is a great coach! She is knowledgeable about the game of softball. She tells her athletes that school comes first since we are student-athletes. She treats us with respect and cares about our well being."
