"He has lied to so many people . He doesn't have a past history. If you look him up there are no stars or history for him.
He golf career seems to have started at UAFS.
There isn't any background to look at.
He can't help player with their swing.
Golf swing mechanics are basically nonexistent.
My niece played for him 3 years and her game continued to get worse
All he told her was "You'll have to take lessons or find someone to help you".
The practice sessions are sporadic. The coach shows up for the 1st 15 minutes and then leaves to go fishing.
The players don't have a schedule for practice.
They lose interest, and give up.
Some of his players have transferred out to other colleges and became really good players.
Think long and hard before you consider this school.
Most of his players are borderline on their grades allowing them to play.
He has a couple that are exempt do to unknown reasons.
If you have a drive and desire to play, seek out another school of your really care."
"He has a way of demotivating the players.
There is a young man from Texas that came in after shooting scores of 63-66 all last summer.
Once this coach started working with him his scores are around 78-80.
You can check the stats on their website UAFS golf.
He is more concerned about their diet than anything.
The players run into problems and have to find a swing coach to help them.
He recruits players that aren't eligible because of low grades, etc.
He has a roster of 12 players , but only 7 or 8 can play.
The others have to sit out or they are red shirted.
Very disorganized program.
There are a couple of local PGA Pros that are qualified and wanting to coach the teams, but the UAFS athletic department is staying with this coach.
He was released from an NAIA school when they merged with another college.
If you look up the history on this coach there is none.
Evena as a college player he isn't mentioned anywhere.
By all means look at the statistics of the school before you let your son or daughter play here."
"While he doesn't have an understanding of the golf swing , he is into nutrition.
He was a JUCO , D3 and NAIA coach.
Trying to coach D2 is a struggle. He tries to go fishing to relive he tension, but neglects the team and they get further down the list with playing.
His only strategy is " Trust The Process".
He has made everyone in that town mad at him .
Please re-consider before going to olay for him.
He brings in players that shoot in the mid 60s, and when he's down they shoot around an 80.

"Coach Sargent took me in after having a terrible experience at a D1 college. My mental health was very low. I’ve always heard that Sargent is tough and expects nothing but your best. She’s always been deemed scary. While she is tough, she not only wants your best delivered on the court but she wants the best for each athlete as far as mental health and their own well-being. She has developed a program that allows young women to come in fragile to the world and leave as leaders and women stronger than before. We leave with bridesmaids and lifelong friends. She wants us to see ourselves the way she sees us, which is remarkable young women capable of great things. If you’re passionate about volleyball and want to win but also want to feel like a human and be treated respectfully, UAFS is the way to go. Sargent is also very informative and knowledgeable on the game of volleyball. She has tons of drills, plays and information to share to each one of us. Sargent brings in some of the best staff members to help create a better environment each year. "
