"I played for Coach Hill more than 30 years ago. He was young and filled with energy and enthusiasm for the game. He had extremely high expectations for our team. Simply put, he had more confidence in our abilities as baseball players than we did ourselves. Anyone, anytime, anywhere…… that was our motto as we took on the best teams in the country and fully expected to win each and every game.. Coach Hill created a sense of family, a brotherhood that has stood the test of time! I still keep in touch with him, I still fallow his teams. Whenever they make their way to Southern California, I go watch them play. He is now much older, but he still has the same energy and enthusiasm for the game! His teams still play with the same fire and confidence as our great Kingsmen teams of 1989-90. Most importantly, he is still creating that culture of family or what they call Ohana !!!! "
