"I transferred out of Miami for personal reasons. Looking back, I will always cherish and appreciate the time I had with Keno. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and makes an effort to promote team bonding. However, not all treatment is equal. Do not walk into his gym expecting anything without trying to create a relationship with him. You being talented is bottom line, you need to create a bond with Keno and show him you are dedicated to the team and the game. There’s a reason he has been at Miami for so long. Keno developed me in a way off the court that I will always be appreciative of. As someone who transferred out, Keno will always be my favorite coach. Take your time to understand him, and appreciate the culture he has created within this program. "

"Seriously beware before committing to this program. The environment can be extremely negative, unprofessional, and unsupportive. There are major concerns about how employees and student-athletes are treated, and the leadership style often comes across as harsh, disrespectful, and unnecessarily nasty. The coaching style can feel more discouraging than motivating, and the overall team culture may not be healthy for every athlete. If you value strong mentorship, professionalism, and a supportive environment, it is worth seriously considering other options first. Want proof talk to current and past employees/athletes "

"Players are not there to be tennis players, they might as well be training for freight work or the military, because the way they are treated is even worse. Her coaching crushes the spirit of every player who steps on their courts. She criticizes everyone loudly, leaving players embarrassed and anxious. It's not surprising that the roster changes every year... when athletes face constant negativity, humiliation. She lies on the recruiting process just to get you, and then immediately changes her approach. Coaching should be about helping athletes grow and building confidence and discipline, not tearing them down and turning them against each other. An environment filled with only pressure and negativity and as a professional coach, it's clear she is not in the right headspace to lead a team effectively. I've seen many players from both the men's and women's teams over the years face the exact same problem. The problem is her! Don’t get fooled , she is a nightmare. "
