Was very catfishing during recruiting and made a lot of promises he could not keep. Players on the team are fantastic and made my time here enjoyable and worth staying for."

"Had parents come in to his office every week that would complain about playing time then they would instantly start/ get more playing time. Did not care about injuries would assume you were lying about being injured/ would still try to start people who were injured depending on the injury. Would act like he cared about players but when he would ask a question about you he wouldn’t even listen to your response. He would act cool with you around other people but as soon as you had a 1 on 1 meeting with him he would tear your entire life apart whether it was about soccer, school, you as a person, your health/ mental health etc. Very obvious who is favorites on the team are he would have random personal meeting with them during the week or before/after practice. The drills he does are very repetitive, some drills were good but others he would make up and they didn’t make a lot of sense and he would spend 1-1.5 hours on the same drill at practice. The assistant coaches don’t really have a day at all they just go with what steve says, sometimes assistant coaches and head coach would often contradict each other. The team was very cliquey which had a lot to do with the head coach as well. He would very much separate the starters and non starters and it would create a lot of drama. Overall, he was a completely different person from meeting him for a visit to actually committing and going there. "
