"Great Coach! Would do anything to support his athletes and made my time at UNI one I will never forget. Runs a tight ship and gets the best out of each of his athletes. "
"Coach Tuebel is all around a great coach and an even better person. She is dedicated to the sport and the University. There’s nothing coach loves more than UNI. She takes individuals who weren’t standouts in high school and creates success. She is very understanding of whatever situation you are in from injury to mental health. If you buy in to the program for 4 years you will see improvement. Great coach and caring person. "
"Coach Smith was one of the greatest coaches i've ever had, as he's what made my bad experience with UNI Track completely worth it. He takes the time to understand what works for you, make proper adjustments and fosters a welcoming environment for questions concerns and even personal matters. He establishes himself very well as mentor on and off the track- and will be one of those coaches that you look back and are grateful for. UNI Track is very lucky to have him!"
"Seemingly has no idea what he’s doing. Never seen a team have more injuries and hardly any production or output. Preaches a false sense of motivation only never to act on it when the team actually needed it.
Communication is very poor. Often didn’t know what the practice schedule was like until hours before practice. "
"School may be d1 but it is ran like a highschool team. No accountability or leadership, very clicky and not welcoming. If you don’t want to get better and say you’re d1 this is the place for you.
She only caters to her favorites and if you aren’t one of them, best of luck to you.

"Terrible Coach, doesn’t know how to coach, creates and hosts a toxic environment, incredibly petty and lacks discipline and true leadership. Very quick to turn on you when things don’t go his way, and will try to make sure your career dies at UNI. Do not recommend him or the poverty program. "
"Pros: Really cares for his athletes, pretty level headed,
Cons: Stubborn about trying new players and strategies, overworks players with spaced out summer workouts rather than having everything at once and giving athletes a day to rest and have fun, also gives little rest time in season"
"Not a yeller and genuinely cares about his players. Doesn't play favorites as much as most coaches which is nice. Definitely knows the game and wants to win. Very tactical and skill based practices. "
"Gives constructive criticism, but doesn't belittle you as a person. He's a coach you can talk to about things other than soccer. He understands the life of a student athlete and is flexible with the demands that come with it. Overall, a nice guy with a passion of soccer and winning."
"Tells you how it is but a great overall coach who is wishes the beat for all her players. She understands your potential and will do her best to help you reach it."
"Great coach ! Very motivating and gets team ready to go for championship season. Looks out for his athletes and cares about them like a family if you want to be successful on and off the track go to this program ! "
