"Seen dude kick a teammate in the ass while throwing up in a trash-can. Not even trying to be rude but pretty sure just has a slight form of aspurgurs. I’ve dealt with many coaches in my life from many sports. And he is definitely the worst the experiences I had with him was terrible. Dude is just too much, we’ll see where he lands after being at McNeese State getting fired for being too over the top to his players. Just made too many guys transfer out/quit."

Coach Goff, renowned for his successful track record at Valdosta State, faces challenges replicating his previous triumphs at McNeese. Despite his commendable communication skills and respect towards players, a noticeable hindrance lies in his reluctance to fully believe in the team and staff.
One area that demands improvement is Coach Goff's adaptability in play calling during challenging situations. Regrettably, he seems resistant to altering strategies even when confronted with the need for adjustment. This lack of flexibility may contribute to a less-than-ideal atmosphere for players to rally behind during tough times.
In addition to these concerns, a significant issue has arisen regarding Coach Goff's reported disagreements with the Offensive Coordinator and the Offensive Line Coach about on-field play calls. These conflicts can create a disruptive atmosphere and impact the team's overall cohesion during crucial moments. Collaborative decision-making is essential for a successful coaching staff, and these reported disputes may contribute to the team's challenges in executing cohesive and effective strategies on the field.
One of the major drawbacks observed is Coach Goff's refusal to acknowledge the need for change despite a winless season. Maintaining a stance of unwavering confidence may inadvertently convey a lack of willingness to adapt and grow. This sentiment is echoed by teammates who share concerns about the overall leadership quality and the effectiveness of his playcalling.
Furthermore, a concerning issue involves Coach Goff denying access to game film for all players, particularly those who became frustrated with the team and transferred out. This decision not only limits every team member's opportunities to review and analyze their performance but also hinders the departing players' ability to showcase their skills and pursue future opportunities. This action fosters an environment of unnecessary conflict and impedes the team's ability to learn from their experiences and improve collectively.
On a positive note, Coach Goff demonstrates a genuine concern for academics and the well-being of the team. Ensuring that the team never goes a day without a meal and actively working to improve cafeteria food quality highlights his commitment to the players' overall welfare.
In conclusion, while Coach Goff exhibits care for the team's academic and physical well-being, there are areas in leadership, adaptability, and team collaboration that could benefit from improvement. A more flexible and accountable approach, coupled with a willingness to embrace change when needed, could contribute significantly to the team's success and overall cohesion."
