"Coach Paris brought my love back for the game after having previous bad coaches. He cares about the game as well as his players. He makes sure every player feels valued on and off the field."
"Not caring for injured athletes or those that put in the work. Only cares about winning with their starting 11 and that’s it. No development of the bench. Not friendly."
"Chris directs my son’s Regional program and is his U12 coach within the program. So many of the program coaches are Chris’s previous or current college players. His ability to build programs and systematically develop various age groups is amazing."
"This was my first year playing for coach Paris and he was extremely motivational and always prepared for games. When I was injured he checked on me constantly. He cares for our team like it is part of his family. He spends a lot of hours preparing us for games and making sure we are ready. I would highly recommend this coach!!"
"Outstanding Coach who knows his stuff. Goes above and beyond the call of duty. Not only is he an outstanding coach but an amazing advocate for the university. He has spent endless hours working under limited hours but still provided his student athletes with a positive experience. He has an excellent work ethic. Any program or student athlete that has been able to experience Neil will know they are very lucky. "
"She has a vision and she’s definitely going to peruse it but the only problem is that she’s a dance teacher and isn’t very knowledgeable about stunting. She had her athletes teach each other about stunting and gets very frustrated when things aren’t hitting. She won’t correct it she’ll just say fix it. When a athlete gets hurt she pays no mind to them or if an athlete has a injury she pushes you to do a hard skill. She makes comments about people’s bodies behind her athletes backs and talks crap to her assistant coaches that probably doesn’t want to hear it. We’ve never won one UCA Nationals competition. If we never hit a skill she just prays that it will hit when we step on the mat.
She’s doesn’t talk to her athletes unless they talk to her.
I would say she has favorites but those favorites quit and we had a couple athletes leave during the semester and she only cried when two individuals left.
There are a lot of things that we went through throughout the season. But I can say she only gets motivated at the end of the season… during nationals.
She also wouldn’t let the black girls wear their hair in braids because she said it’s unprofessional and “a stunting hazard.”"
