"The Queen of Shouting, Shunning, Gaslighting and name calling. Cardio was only for punishment. 2024-25 NIC volleyball season was a nightmare. She bullied players. She allowed bullying. She bragged about leadership and communication certifications. Terrible coach, terrible communicator. At practices, games, meetings if she asked a question and didn’t like your answer, she’d yell and cuss until you backed down or cried. Then she would bring it up later to embarrass you. Constantly humblebragged about playing volleyball at Whitwoth College while rallying teammates to tell you how worthless you are. No grade checks during the 2024-25 season, 3 or 4 of her favorites did not have the grades to play. All the coaches knew. She said grade checks were not mandatory. They are on academic probation now. She picked bullies to run the social media accounts. There are no player announcements, like birthdays, awards, or anything. On travel trips Jess was heard yelling from inside her room. She was talking trash about all of us. You could earn playing time by babysitting for her. All 2024-25 player stats on NIC website are wrong; the entire coaching staff knows but refused to make changes. She said the stats didn’t matter because no one was good enough to play on anyway. Finished the season 8-13. She blamed us. No cardio or lifting. No lineup changes. She blamed us for making her look bad. 7 sophomores on the team. Only 3 sophomores are graduating. 2 girls quit the team and moved away from CDA. No sophomores are playing university ball next year. Because nobody is good enough, right Jess. She persuaded 2 sophomores to drop classes so they can return for the 2025-26 season. They are returning for a 3rd year on full rides. They have a recruit at NIC right now. No housing for her, so they made us move this strange girl into the dorm for the week. She’s a bad dream and we are stuck with her and having to dodge the RA. "
