"So my daughter was recruited by the previous coach and unfortunately when she left mid season Hannah was put in charge on an interim basis….she has almost single handedly destroyed all the confidence it took years to build up in my daughter never mind LAX but as a person….she (daughter) has expressed multiple times to me a lot of what the negative reviews about her say and has also begged us to not say anything. We have never ever critiqued a coach at any level as we have another child playing a D1 sport as well….while they are thriving we are left picking up the pieces of my daughters confidence….she continues to play the same people over and over and over again in the same manner and expecting different results. It’s borderline sick. She certainty has a type of player she loves that coincidently happens to be built like Hannah and play exactly like her….i have always told my children I hope they are in a position to play and if not I hope that they are cheering their teammates on from the sideline which the same 20 girls do a wonderful job of….i don’t understand how you can lose 12 draws in a row and run the same people back out there. Consistently fails to get the most out of the really good players she inherited and there has been a clear an obvious regression from her year one to year 2…..hopefully she figures it out moving forward"

"Coach Hannah Potter was one of the first college coaches i met through her camp. She was really nice, made me feel comfortable, and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me as a player. We stayed in touch for a little while after camp, but communication eventually just kind of stopped. I know that happens a lot in recruiting, but i think it could have been handled with a little more communication. Overall, my experience with her at camp was positive."

"Many of us are on the same page with the way we feel, but are terrified to express the way we feel. Coach Hannah is the queen of grudges and if you disagree with her or ask any questions you are in the dog house. The pressure to win this fall took away the fun of the game for me. I knew what I signed up for, and I knew it wasn’t going to be easy and I was ready for that. What I didn’t know is that I would question my love for playing a game I’ve loved since a little girl. "As a current member of the team, I feel it’s important to share an honest perspective on the environment being created. In my experience, Coach Hannah leads through fear rather than trust. There is a constant pressure to perform, and many of us feel uncomfortable speaking up because of concern about retaliation or being treated differently. There have been situations where players are discussed inappropriately in meetings, which creates tension and distrust within the team. The culture often feels more focused on appearances than growth — our social media presence portrays a fun, positive environment, but behind the scenes it often feels forced and driven by concern over image rather than team well-being. There is also an overwhelming emphasis on outcomes, particularly being “Big South champs,” rather than focusing on daily development and the process it takes to get there. This creates unnecessary pressure and anxiety, especially when what many of us need is steadier leadership and support. At times, it feels like personal insecurities are projected onto the team, which impacts morale. Many of us wish the approach were calmer, more transparent, and more focused on growth rather than control. There is a lot of potential here, but it would benefit greatly from a shift toward trust, communication, and true leadership. "
