"I played for Coach Abigail at YVC and had a great experience. She goes above and beyond for her players. Academically, she utilized some classroom time talk about our future career plans and she tried to help connect us with resources outside of soccer. On the field, I remember her hyping my teammates up by saying things like “You got this!! Come on you can do it!!” Abi also came up with inventive and positive drills for us during practice that helped us bond as teammates. She motivated me beyond what I thought was possible and many of us thought of her as our second mom during season. We still have a great relationship and I know I can call her up for advice anytime. I’m forever thankful for her leadership, inspirational coaching style, and her ability to coach soccer in a way I could understand. She made me want to be a better individual on and off the pitch. I highly recommend her as a coach and as a friend! "

"I was a player on her first year coaching at YVC. We were all experiencing the first year together. Our team grew a lot throughout the year, which stemmed from the coaching. As a coach and person she cared and we still talk to this day. One thing I loved about playing for her was how she encouraged team bonding in many ways. All she wants is her players to be successful.
