Sam has been suspended for over six games in two years, and on top of that, was even suspended for an NCAA tournament games back at his previous school. That is not a winning culture or great leadership; that is just a liability when your own coach keeps getting benched by the conference and tournament officials for sideline abuse and screaming at refs. And we can talk about player development all day, but Sam has over sixteen yellow cards in the last two years alone and was caught with an NCAA cheating violation. It might not be sitting out there in some public audit, but it is an open secret and entirely well known. Add in the way he treats people, like disrespecting alumni who built the program before him and constantly running his mouth talking garbage about other teams and the administration behind closed doors, and it is a complete joke. None of that compares to the petty garbage like pulling a seniors Instagram post just because he had a personal vendetta against her. Punishing girls for getting outside recognition is just embarrassing ego. The worst part is watching people pretend the scholarship stuff is just a rumor. Sam pulled scholarship offers after the school already guaranteed them, leaving people stranded. And he did the exact same thing to players after they got hurt, stripping their aid the second they could not perform up to his standards anymore after playing heavy minutes for him. The people speaking out now are not bitter, and they are not trying to sabotage anything. They are just trying to warn the next generation so no one else has to deal with this mess.
