"I have never met such a horrible coach. Ruined my daughter's experience. Would talk poorly about other players to everyone all while telling that player they are doing great. If you are a part of his favorite group, then you'll get treated decent, other than that you are irrelevant to him. Has had multiple Title 9 violations that he somehow keeps getting out of. People like this need to be held responsible. Get him out of college coaching and coaching in general!"

"Accessible coach, whenever we needed something the door was always open to talk to him. However, he was talking a lot and he didn’t really try to listen to what we had to say. He didn’t try to create a team culture. He stuck with the old school mentality. He made promises to players that he couldn’t keep. He had favorites. Training was pretty much the same every time. Players needed to find internal motivation to show up and perform well at practice. "

He has called his players fat, made comments about their sexual orientation, and constantly put certain players health above others. Many players were contacted in the 2024 post season about title 9 violations they had experienced from and under the coaching of Chris. If you want to keep your mental stability and your love for the sport, I would not go to anywhere Chris Pfau is coaching. "

"Chris is a pretty knowledgeable coach with lots of experience but seems to be rooted in old ways. Team is stuck booting the ball forward and hoping someone will take care of it. What happens in practice does not really translate to games. Only motivational when he gets really pissed off and feels the need to run the team when the atmosphere that he created is why the team is not performing up to standards."

He is not always the most transparent with players, however he is available most days for player/coach meetings, phone calls. etc. Coaching style is possessional, but there is very little playing out of the back on goal kicks.
