"Robbe is very passionate about the team and the overall goals that we want to achieve. He is intense when he needs to be but also is somewhat of a players coach and listens to what we have to say. "
"I have never met such a horrible coach. Ruined my daughter's experience. Would talk poorly about other players to everyone all while telling that player they are doing great. If you are a part of his favorite group, then you'll get treated decent, other than that you are irrelevant to him. Has had multiple Title 9 violations that he somehow keeps getting out of. People like this need to be held responsible. Get him out of college coaching and coaching in general!"
"Loved working with her. She is such a great role model. She keeps the balance for everyone. There was a short period of time in my career I felt neglected when I was injured. I don’t blame her though. She might have as well going through rough times. Other than this “conflict” she’s been my mentor throughout all my years in college until now.
We need more coaches like her in college athletics!!! It will be a game changer for every athlete’s mental state."
"Truly cares, can relate, good instructor, literally participates along side her players both to teach and motivate, provides clear constructive feedback, positive even in the face of difficult or out of her control circumstances. I would play for or along side her. "
"Can recruit to and coach defense w the best. Really struggles w the offensive side of the field. Needs to be consistent, such as if all are supposed to do ‘X’ follow through w consequences for those who do not do ‘X’. If he could figure out how to average 2.5 goals a game he would win championships w regularity. "
"Love love love Grace. So helpful, kind, and welcoming on our visit and she is always being raved about. She honestly looks out for her girls so much. My daughter has mentioned multiple times Grace being there for her. "
"My daughter plays for Chris and enjoys it. She hasn't had too much negative to say other than playing sometimes but he was really great on our visit. I think he knows what he's doing. "
"We practice off campus a lot because of field availability. Our game field is good but our practice field isnt regulation and it is really bumpy and the 18s are dirt a lot of the time. Overall not bad. The locker room is terrible and hot but not a huge deal. "
"He can be hard on players but he’s just trying to push them to their best potential. He cares about you as a person and how you develop as long as you show you care as well"
"He has been good to our daughter. He has set her up with a job, gotten her set up with a pro soccer team overseas and also has helpful in her player development in college. "
"Chris is a pretty knowledgeable coach with lots of experience but seems to be rooted in old ways. Team is stuck booting the ball forward and hoping someone will take care of it. What happens in practice does not really translate to games. Only motivational when he gets really pissed off and feels the need to run the team when the atmosphere that he created is why the team is not performing up to standards."
"I love Grace, she is an awesome GK coach. She cares about her players, she loves what she does and she is great at developing players in a positive way. "
"He’s horrible, he doesn’t teach the game, he just runs the dog mess out of you…Runs his players before games and then ask, “where’s the energy”. Then try’s to say your fitness gets you on the field. Lmao."
"The worst Coach I’ve ever had at any level of baseball. If you want to go to TSU to play baseball, just expect to practically enroll in the military. Coach Rob is ignorant and doesn’t know the game of baseball well. He teaches hard work and fitness, not baseball. There’s a reason there hasn’t been success at TSU for a while and it reverts back to the coaching. The draft picks from TSU are transfers from higher institutions that merely used TSU for playing time to showcase their skills. I know multiple players who have had their careers ruined by Coach Rob and wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy. "
"He's very open to receive feedback from his players and knows that everyone has a different way to be approached. That being said, he expects his players to be as open to correction from him and teammates and be 100% involved and dedicated to the team. "
"This coach does not understand the game of basketball. I came here to learn more. I feel my AAU coach knows more. She throws fits, disrespect umps. She brought her father along to help coach and he is no better. She told the JV coach that he could not help us girls, even on our own time. He knows more about the game than Robyn. I'm really sorry to see this program fail. It was at one time the place to play ball. Now it's a joke. Davenport made a mistake when they hired her."
". She is very inconsistent with playing time
\
. She plays extreme favorites
\
. She refuses to take input from other players/coaches
\
. She knows nothing about the game of basketball and only cares about the offense perspective of the game
\
. She is more of a dictator than a coach
\
. She and her Dad (assistant coach) fight and bicker in front of the team almost everyday in practice
\
. She throws objects such as full cups of water at us during halftime in lockerroom

"On my first visit I had a great time getting to explore the city, campus, meeting faculty and staff, meeting students, and overall learning more about the university as an out-of-state student-athlete."
"My visit was nice, I got to be with the team, tour campus, try on jerseys, and the coaches had a really long conversation about what I wanted out of playing there. The campus was super nice too. "
"Accessible coach, whenever we needed something the door was always open to talk to him. However, he was talking a lot and he didn’t really try to listen to what we had to say. He didn’t try to create a team culture. He stuck with the old school mentality. He made promises to players that he couldn’t keep. He had favorites. Training was pretty much the same every time. Players needed to find internal motivation to show up and perform well at practice. "
"Chris Pfau has been a constant harm to student athletes mental health. He has called his players fat, made comments about their sexual orientation, and constantly put certain players health above others. Many players were contacted in the 2024 post season about title 9 violations they had experienced from and under the coaching of Chris. If you want to keep your mental stability and your love for the sport, I would not go to anywhere Chris Pfau is coaching. "
"Chris is knowledgeable of the game and has a lot of experience in all aspects of soccer. He is not always the most transparent with players, however he is available most days for player/coach meetings, phone calls. etc. Coaching style is possessional, but there is very little playing out of the back on goal kicks.
