"Cory picked up and ran with a job that honestly had huge shoes to fill and a reputation to uphold. As a coach, he absolutely has the experience and knowledge to make a good swimmer GREAT! He wears a lot of hats on the team as he is one of the most approachable people on the IU staff. My only complaint about Cory is that he willingly puts on straight-cut jeans at 5 AM to coach swimming. But I guess this is also a testimony to his commitment to something he cares about. Overall, Cory was a great coach and overall fun person to be around.
P.S. if you are a distance swimmer- he'll make you work, but he also knows how to deal with distance group shenanigans, so don't be shy :) "
