While he has a solid understanding of the technical aspects of our sport, Ed has prioritized recruitment of new swimmers over 'inherited' swimmer development. I don't doubt the team will improve under Ed; however, more attention on the current swimmers would be appreciated."

"Ed is a great coach that truly cares about his athletes. He is very technically focused and will spend extra time working on technique with you if you have that interest. When it comes to pushing you, Ed is supportive but really leaves it up to you as to how hard you want to push yourself. This may not work well for some athletes who aren't self motivated. Overall, I would recommend him."
