"I will keep in touch with Gordie for the rest of my life. He is not only helpful on the court, but off the court as well. Although he is a scatter-brain, he is always fun to be around and cares about each of his players individually. I rarely go to practice without cracking up."

"He would be a better coach if he was able to focus on one team instead of men's and women's. But that doesn't take away from the fact that he's a good guy and makes it all work. He does care about every player."
