"He’s very manipulative and not fair with players, and it’s obvious he has favorites, which makes everything feel uneven from the start. He tells recruits that the team plays a possession style and builds from the back, but once you’re actually there, that’s not how the team plays at all, which feels misleading. On top of that, communication is a big issue. Expectations aren’t clear, and feedback is inconsistent, so players are often left guessing what they did right or wrong. The environment can feel negative, especially when mistakes are handled harshly instead of being used to help players improve, which really hurts confidence over time. There also doesn’t seem to be much structure or organization in training or game planning, and decisions can feel random rather than based on performance. Players don’t get real opportunities to showcase their ability, and it doesn’t feel like development is a priority. Overall, it creates a frustrating atmosphere where it’s hard to grow or succeed."
"He tries to convince recruits that they play a possession based, high pressing, and attacking philosophy, which is absolutely comical because that team did not complete 5 passes all year. During the actual course of the season he kills players confidence and it reflects on the team as a whole. If you make one small mistake it’s the end of the world and you’ve dropped to the bottom of the depth chart. If you do something he likes (in one case wear his favorite color) you will suddenly be at the top of his depth chart. It’s an absolute joke. Doesn’t really seem to knowledgeable on the game of football tactically. Lack of motivation, does not care about his players off the field, lets politics get in between decisions that would help the team succeed. They should really move on from this guy. "
"Enforces high standards and values that would not be a problem if he lived up to them himself. Expects you to drop your responsibilities on a dime to do whatever he asks. If you ever make an honest mistake you are expected to stand up and take full accountability. His response to a mistake is to either "take accountability" followed by an elaborate excuse or completely ignore it. Doesn't care about his players off the field but tries to act like he does. Doesn't have the personality to be a receptionist let alone a Head Coach. Out of touch with reality. Thinks he is beloved but has no respect from others due to the way he conducts himself. If you were to ask him he would be able to talk for hours about how great he is. Stay away from this guy for as long as he is in this position (which hopefully won't be much longer)."
