"Everything on paper looks good. Structured, organized, works hard. Preaches full student athlete experience academics included. Boasts about class attendance and GPA. However also turns a blind eye so students can cheat on all exams while on the road, schedules road swings during exams, easy to get top GPA every year when we all take the same classes and get the answers passed to us. The school does not offer a ton of classes so some majors you just cannot take since they only offer their classes during our practice block which is 6am to noon every day. Actively discourages players to use the free university resources when it comes to health and safety. Had player on team going through crisis because of stress, then told the locker room after administration left that if any player uses any services provided it better only be because they absolutely need it or else we are just soft. Tells some players they can’t play because their fitness’s isn’t good enough meanwhile his captain has never once passed a fitness test but on the background it’s okay for them because same players dad is a massive donor. Punishes players for taking time off and going to their families, and will punish a player for their parents actions. Accepts money from players parents to pay “volunteer” assistant coaches and also lets that player start. Now to the positives. A genius tactical coach, his system works when there are the correct players recruited. Team has continued year in and year out. success. All but guaranteed a tournament bid every year with poor conference opponents. So you can take the good with the bad. Program is not for everyone. "

"Hands down the best coach that I have had. The most organized, prepared and intelligent coach that I have met. He sets a high standard for himself and his players and pushes them to get there best on and off the field. He is as great as a coach as he is an individual. It was a privilege to have him as coach."
