"Horrible experience playing here at Elon even as a star player. How Hexter has kept his job as a male who cannot connect with his players is beyond me. He is not receptive to feedback and flies through assistant coaches, who are very forthcoming about his lack of support. This type of “leader” should be not allowed to coach women "

"My experience as a collegiate lacrosse player under Coach Hexter was not an enjoyable experience and I believe my teammates would agree. While I got a lot of playing time during my time there, Hexter was tough to approach, he lacked support for players that were not his "favorites" and could not handle constructive criticism from the team. While he seems fun-loving, his actions speak much louder than his words. He would be a much better coach if he listened to and respected his players."
