"One of my all-time favorite coaches to work with has been Coach Julia. She is truly skilled at what she does, and she is just SO knowledgeable about softball. Coach J is concerned about, respects, and watchful of her athletes. Despite being straightforward and honest, she believes in all of her players. When someone is having a bad practice, she can tell. Most of the time, her office is open. When entering her office, she brings this welcoming atmosphere with her. When you talk to her about things other than softball, she listens carefully and offers excellent counsel. Coach J is a competitive coach who always wants the greatest results. Coach J doesn't mind using her top 10 to 11 players every game (which some people may have a problem with). Even though she occasionally displays toughness, she always has a winning attitude. Overall, Coach J is one of the greatest, and I have genuinely enjoyed being a part of her team as a player. She makes me a better student athlete, but also a human being."
