Instead of motivation and support, bullying and intimidation are their main methods of "coaching" ... if you could even call it that. He was also caught embezzling money from the Marist Swim Club. "

"Acts as though he wants you to succeed but doesn't usually give a shit about you after your freshmen year. Rarely offers encouragement and has been known to immediately tell you what you did wrong in a race the moment you touch the wall. His assistants are exponentially more qualified. Still way better than the diving coach though."

"Very old school, garbage yardage type training. Not open at all to new ideas about swimming technique or training methods. Fairly motivational, but can be quite mean. No nonsense approach focusing on balance of mind, body, and spirit. Rating: 6/10, would be higher if he was more open minded and less disparaging. "
"Extremely old fashioned. Set in his ways and he has no intentions of changing them. He often will put you down and will not give you many compliments. Overall not a nice or helpful coach "
