I received an excellent education from Rhodes College but playing for coach Wags was the main reason for attending Rhodes. Not one player who was committed to playing for coach Wags or even committed to the game of softball would speak of him in such a way. All I can say is coach Wags is the epitome of a players first coach and while his passion for the game and softball IQ drive the success seen in the win column, his mentorship and dedication to player development are what lead to player’s career and personal successes.
