"You play under an abusive coach for 3 years and think “well cant get worse” and then Maddie dugan walks in the door. Call me old fashioned but I would rather get called fat, slow, and down right bad than the mind games that were played within coach maddies office. She comes to you like a friend, like she cares and the minute you are out of the door she is talking s**t behind your back. Nobody trusted her. Her apointed leaders didnt trust her, nor her captiains, or the GA or even her assistant. For that reason all leadership fell apart on the team and we opperated as a unit without her. Her only contribution was making hard days harder and getting in the way of our ability to win. "

"Coach Maddie was honestly one of most two faced coaches I have had the misfortune to be coached by. She routinely lied to us about multiple things including playing time and staying at UDM for the long haul. She was extremely rude to multiple people on the team and would often tell people to “shut the f up” when they’d ask questions. She ruined my mental health and I think her entire staff leaving after one season speaks volumes to her ability to coach. She only cared about herself and it was very apparent. She placed recruits above the team she currently coached and cared more about them than us. We once did an exercise that was for us to anonymously talk about our feelings, and after she read all of them out loud, she told us that our feelings were not valid and that we should just suck it up. She does not take criticism and played favorites. She does not make in game adjustments that was reflected by almost losing after being up by 10. Don’t get used to her being around, she leaves just as fast as she comes. "

"Easily the most disrespectful and rude coach I’ve ever had, she does not care about the players at all which was apparent with how she announced she was leaving. regularly cussed out players during practice and would talk s**t about players to other teammates making everyone extremely uncomfortable. her entire philosophy was made of lies and empty promises and she created a terrible team culture. has absolutely no experience coaching a high level which is apparent by the losing streak to start the year. then once conference games started the team was able to pull off wins to which she took all the credit even though she would pull the starting goalie and make terrible decisions making winning 10 times more difficult. takes absolutely no constructive criticism and will just get mad and fire people. there’s a reason her entire staff left after one year. thank god she is no longer our coach her commitment to the team and her word was embarrassing, good luck to any of her new players you’ll need it. "She had taken my mental health to a terrible state. Was very inconsistent with her words and actions and repeatedly disrespected me on and off the field. Said she cared about players then bad mouthed them to other players and her assistant coaches who then left after the season was over. "
