"Based on my experience, Marty Beall is overall a poor coach who does not care about his players. He preaches “respect, love, positive actions” and that the “person is more important than the player” but exhibits the complete opposite. He never goes out of his way to help players on the team, even if they ask him. Because of how unaware he treats his players, many develop mental health issues and depletion in confidence. If you ask him what you need to work on, he will be very vague. There have been many players who left, some being starters, because they could not handle how he treated others. He has a direct style of play that will ruin players who have a lot of skill. He also does not listen or work with the other assistant coaches, who do not advocate for players on the team and are unable to make suggestions. His personality off the field is also not very welcoming."

"If you're not one of his top 16 players, you may as well not even be on the practice field. He coaches his favorites while all other players stand by and listen. Team culture was not bad. It could have been better if genuine leaders had been chosen to represent the team instead of his "top" players. Like I said, if you weren't in his top 16, you were nothing more than a weak link."
