"This coach is only interested in himself and his goals. He clearly states academics are not important and encourages practice over attending classes if there is a schedule conflict. He does not care at all for the mental health of the athletes and his comments have a demeaning undertone toward women. Not the type of coach that is a leader for young athletes. "

Be aware that should you unfortunately have an off season or injury, this same transfer portal which brought you to him will be the same one where you will be exiting as he will cut and move on to the next recruit (which you will have helped recruit). You are simply a number and are disposable. "

"Lacking in leadership and integrity. Has lost multiple assistant coaches over the last few years. Is not committed to the welfare of his swimmers. Is condescending and dismissive of student-athletes’ and parents’ questions. Has a propensity to use people, but not form lasting, meaningful relationships. Not and ideal leader or coach. Doesn’t seem to have the constitution to do what is consistently right and in the best interest of his student-athletes. Puts himself before team and others. I would avoid this program and coach if you have other options."

"Not to be trusted. Dishonest and lacking in integrity. His issues are not technical or in teaching strokes and time improvements . He lacks a moral compass and does not care about the student-athletes he recruits and coaches. He is self-centered and out of touch with what it means to be a grown man leading young women. If you can swim anywhere else, I’d strongly recommend it. The words best used to describe him do not belong on a public site. I’d be happy to discuss with you by email or phone. "
