"I was asked to post as a parent. I didn’t realize that this kind of rating place were online. My daughter plays for VCU. She was an above average HS player and an all conference player. We knew she wasn’t top D1 but thought she could be impactful in the top half. In retrospect, we should have chosen another school. Maybe closer to home or D2 or 3. She would have been an AA. Nicole made my daughter feel she would have been a very impactful player. In the past she was always the first in runs, the hardest worker on teams- the coaches told us this. At VCU she has disappeared. Personally, academically and athletically. And I blame Nicole. She has destroyed my daughter’s confidence through her very hateful coaching style. The AS coaches try to mop up her vitriol. VCU is an excellent Arts school and she may stay, she may not. "
"AN incredibly selfish person who puts her needs and desires over the team. I have been told one thing to my face and something completely different happens. More than once. She is insincere and erratic. Promises during recruitment didn’t happen. I love my teammates and will stay and work hard for them. "
"Coach Flores has done amazing things with the VCU women's lacrosse program. She is tough, but caring, knowledgeable and fair. As a parent of a student athlete, I can't think of a better person to help my daughter learn about sportsmanship, leadership, and team culture. She has had a tough road, with the majority of players on her team recruited by the former coach, and some had an allegiance to the way things were done in the past. Coach Flores has tried to initiate a winning mentality and you can see the success and growth mindset already with her new recruits.

She finally has the majority of her own players that she recruited and is building VCU lacrosse from the ground up. "Nicole flores is the absolute worst coach and human being I’ve ever had to deal with. She went mute for 4 days following a loss, Vcu gave bonnie’s their first conference win since 2017, we lost so many games, and even had a meeting about why no one wanted to be there and all of the answers were pointing toward the coaching staff, even after all of this nothing changed. She is the most selfish coach I’ve ever had. After every loss she would ask people on the sidelines why we were losing or why the same people would make the same mistakes but wouldn’t change anything up. I would cry after every single practice and game and genuinely hated every part of lacrosse because of her. She ruined my lacrosse career and it’s safe to say she should pay for mine and everyone else’s therapy. "

"I finally decided to speak out. Nicole ruined my college lacrosse experience. She is nasty, and vindictive. I was recruited by the previous coach and loved her. I tried! Really tried to give Nicole a chance. She is awful and do not play for her. I quit the sport I love to get away. "
"Absolutely horrible as a coach. While Nicole IS knowledgeable and passionate about lacrosse; neither of those traits make you a good coach. She plays mind games with players and purposefully destroys confidence. She doesn’t develop players. She is extremely selfish. Like, how does a coach not play all the seniors on Senior Day when you have a 6 goal lead with 4 minutes to go? Too concerned over winning meaningless games instead of taking care of your seniors. Talk about divisive! That display of poor leadership speaks volumes about the culture she has “fostered”. That lack of respect was noticed by every player on the sideline. Another review praised how Nicole took over a team with consistent losing records and that has continued with 2 more losing seasons. Some players are allowed to make the same mistakes every practice and every game and other players make one mistake and are benched. Add in that Nicole completely shut down and didn’t talk to anyone - assistant coaches or players or parents - for 4 days following a loss shows you how immature she is. Nicole has lost this team."
