I think the statistics speak for themselves. If a player gets into Stanford you must accept. Look at team results and look at player underachievement and lack of improvements. Don’t expect a coach who is going to take your tennis to the next level.
Just because the coach was an excellent pro player, that doesn’t automatically translate to being a good coach. Make sure you get everything in writing during the recruiting process. Different style.
