We had to have a player go get her from the fields because we were hungry and had homework. Everything was reported to administration and they continued to ignore it for years and years of abuse. In my opinion, the entire athletic department needs to be investigated for turning a blind eye to the abuse the ensued for years. This coach talked so negatively about me to my teammates behind my back. She was the worst and her being fired was 10 years overdue. No one like that should be in charge of young women. She took advantage of her power in more way than one. "

Not only was the instructional ability of Hicks below satisfactory, we also endured harassment, bullying, sexual misconduct, withholding of meals, etc. To the ONE good review she got and to the person calling the victims “spoiled kids”, if Coach Hicks wasn’t guilty of the things she got accused of, she wouldn’t have been fired.
