"Coach Sydney is truly an incredible field hockey coach and an even better person. He is dedicated, encouraging, and always brings a positive attitude to every practice and game. He not only pushes us to perform our best on the field but also teaches us the value of teamwork, discipline, and respect. His passion for the sport shows in everything he does, and he always makes sure every player feels supported and included. Coach Sydney is patient, understanding, and knows how to motivate us to keep improving while still keeping practices fun and enjoyable. "Coach Sydney tries his hardest to be a good coach, but consistently falls short. The team environment is awful, and he lets his captains run the show which ultimately causes issues. There is no variety in the types of drills at practice, and feedback is non-existent if you are not a favorite. While he tries to make the environment better by having team bonding, he does not directly address issues. Overall he just lacks communication, which causes his coaching style to fall short of being good."
