Clearly had favorites and was not afraid to single out players until they cried. Claimed to value mental health but when it came to personal experiences, I found it incredibly difficult to open up and trust her as missing practice would impact my playing time. We had written out tests of our playbooks and values: those that didn’t pass weren’t allowed to practice until they scored above an 80. Team culture relied heavily on drinking every weekend for team bonding. The upperclassmen were all in (academics on the backburner during season), sometimes using their power to belittle freshmen/transfers for the sake of it. They believed this is what team culture should look like, but it was an incredibly toxic environment to be in. "
