"Anyone that gives this man a negative rating doesn’t understand Coach Gravante or what he’s been through. If you’re not a starter then work hard enough to become one. Coach Gravante sticks his neck out for each player in his program and builds a culture of men that is driven towards success in life first and winning in lacrosse second. It’s a shame they just let him go. Another comment says I’m surprised he was there as long as he was. I am too because the number of times he put his job on the line for a player to stay in school and get his act together after getting in trouble is astonishing. Put some respect on this man’s name. He’s a great man and a great mentor."

"Very petty, negative and disorganized. It’s very surprising he’s still there. Not a mentor AT ALL or someone who really cares about his players. Very much ruined what should have been a dream come true for me. A great university, but he really is a bad coach that somehow gets a pass from leadership. He puts his players in two buckets, and if you’re not in the starters bucket, you never get a chance to get to it. You’re second class at that point. "
