"Angela is not as knowledgeable about cheer as she should be. She has created a team that is not professional and is not taken seriously. There has been plenty of talent on the team over the last ten years, yet the squad has made no progress. If you are interested in competing or taking your cheer career further, this is not the place. She is very caring and does dedicate herself to the university. "

"A coach should be motivational, supportive, able to deal with player conflicts, not create drama when there is none, help players improve, be fair, be respectful of his players, not tell you one thing then do the opposite, promote team cohesiveness. Blackburn is none of these and more. Go elsewhere to play. Lots of inconsistency in line ups despite player matches. Coaches his own team against each other when given the chance despite saying he never does this!"

He continuously put the teams wants and needs above his own, he always let us have a say in practices, warm-ups, and even the conditioning drills we did. I have never met someone more dedicated to the concerns, thoughts, and feelings of his players. He was always accommodating when it came to class and academic conflicts, and genuinely had a personal interest in the well-being of all of his players. His knowledge extended far beyond the tennis court and he was an amazing mentor. I was lucky to have crossed paths with such an amazing coach."
