"She will destroy your self esteem. She will turn a blind eye to issues that destroy the mental well being of her athletes. She is manipulative and unfair. Her morals are questionable. Assistant coaches don’t stay. I watched her treat another athlete unfairly on several occasions, it was despicable but we as athletes felt helpless to help. He was treated differently based on his ethnicity. We all saw it. He was alienated and he never had a chance. She’s been reported and nothing is done. "

"Coach Kelsey is an extremely disrespectful coach. If you are not deemed ‘worthy’ in her eyes of being in the 2v8, then she couldn’t care less about you. Extremely two-faced coach that pretends to have athlete’s best interest in mind, but actually makes the team’s chemistry go down incredibly and makes them feel not good enough no matter what. Definitely would not recommend to any rower to have as a coach. "

"I think that as a head coach she let her emotions get in the way of what was important. She cared way too much about being liked instead of teaching and guiding her swimmers on the sport. I lost a lot of drive for the sport while she was in charge. She has many personal issues to work through before being in charge of 40-50 young adults. 6 girls and 2 coaches left the program while I was on the team. She does not represent Lasalle swim and dives core. She created a horrible environment. I suggest that she take a break from coaching all together. She was quite honestly the worst coach I’ve ever had. "

Nothing Kerry could do or say could redeem the way in which she destroyed my collegiate D1 swimming experience. To add to this, when she was confronted about it, she gaslight myself, my family, and the athletic dept. "
