"Kristina has no business being the lead trainer for the University. She is disorganized and a poor communicator. While she should be an advocate for the students she seems to create as many obstacles for students to get care as possible. I believe she is incompetent and should be fired."
"He certainly knows a lot about different facets of the game and has constructive criticism in practice, but you better be on his good side or don't expect to get off the bench for matches. Lots of favoritism and he doesn't do a good job of fostering or encouraging a team environment. He's also not great at communicating with his players or making sure everyone is on the same page, and he doesn't provide a high energy environment. "
"Coach Goff was a great leader. He focused on developing players in all areas of the game, while also caring for the players' academics and personal lives. He was a motivator and built an outstanding team culture. He brought several awards to the program and led his players to break several records. "
"He is a good coach who knows the game. He needs to get some more experience as a college coach but he has changed the team culture of the Men’s team in the last 2-3 years. "
"Coach Llewellyn is very organized and he worries a lot about academics. He knows a lot about tennis, he has a great idea of what tennis is about and he’ll make sure to help you on that part. However, it is not easy to get to know him. He has a very particular sense of humor that not many are going to be able to understand. Also, I don’t consider him the most energetic coach I’ve had/met. The energy has to come from the player, otherwise it will be hard to create a competitive environment. "
"Coach Geoff has a good attitude and is always flexible to work with the team. Some work could be done on maintaining overall team cohesion, which is difficult in a sport like track"
"Very knowledgeable and cares about the team. Not the most organized and can improve his communication skills. He will pick up your call at whatever time you call him and will try to help the best as way he can. He does need to conduct more intense practices and push his players more. "
"Deep down caring guy. He’s super funny but if you don’t like sarcasm you better prepare yourself. Prioritizes health and well-being unlike any coach I’ve ever had."
"Volleyball team lost our court and locker room due to Ida. We have not have been able to come back on campus except for workouts in the weight room. Other then that we do our own laundry and have to share gyms with other high schools and colleges in New Orleans. Other then that I would completely recommend, it could be an all in one facility that is good for anything. "
"The coach is very caring and understanding. If there is every a question or confusion she will explain in as many ways as needed. Our team culture is energetic, we all have different personalities. There is never a dull moment. A memorable story is once when I was on the court my coach got super excited and corrected me with an exciting, direct voice. Ever since then I knew there were high standards for me and the season would be full of learning."
"Jesse is a coach that will make you believe in yourself while pushing you past your potential. she is laid back but direct and gets work done. She will make you a better person"
"I believe we lack amenities for athletes since only less than 5 sports can actually practice on campus, I think it's ridiculous to drive and borrow other places for athletes to practice. I also feel they favor the basketball teams more than any other team on campus."
"I've dealt with mental health issues and she has been so supportive and understanding of my needs, and still continues to push me even when I am feeling down. I love Coach Jesse, and I think she is one of the better coaches I have had"
"due to hurricane damage the pool is being renovated as well as the whole sports complex, so this year has all been off-campus, but starting next year will all be back on campus. "
"TJ is an amazing coach. He cares so much about his athletes and believes they are greater than a time or ranking which makes the team atmosphere great."
"He’s understanding coach and is good at communicating but takes a day or so to get back. He truly cares for each individual on the team and loves team bonding."
"It definitely needs to be updated. The first floor workout area/room is way better than the outdated second floor area/room. The pools under construction which is unfortunate and was supposed to be fixed by January."
"He is a good coach who doesn't yell even when he gets upset. When you communicate with him he is super understanding. Sometimes when you reach out it takes him awhile but he still gets back to you. He is invested in bringing the team closer as a whole."
"Needs updates, but is being worked on in recent months due to hurricane damage. Pool gets the job done but updates are needed. Locker rooms are carpeted but are being worked on. Hard to say much since I only spent my freshman year in the sports complex as it was before hurricane damage."
"I committed to swim here at Loyola after having a negative experience with my previous club coach. TJ is everything I could ask for in a coach - very involved in our athletic careers and academic careers, but not overly involved in personal life. He is very straightforward with his expectations and standards, creates a healthy team environment, and factors our opinions highly in making major decisions such as recruits. Loves what he does - founded the team 6-7 years ago and has no plans of leaving."
