The culture she's created for this team is strong on and off the field. If you're gritty, competitive, and willing to put the effort in, you will be successful here. If you don't hold yourself accountable, you will struggle, as you would trying to make it in any successful program. She's like a mom to many of us off the field and NPFH is a big family, we're very close alumni. She's brilliant with her hockey tactics, and is always showing us new techniques. "She genuinely cares about all her players. Although she makes some debatable decisions, she does truly care about all her players. She is very inconsistent when it comes to formations and who plays. She tends to make players really get down on themselves and discouraged because they either aren't playing or used to play and don't anymore. She's never given me false hope however I've seen it happen to teammates. I definitely didn't agree with a lot of her decisions at all. So overall as a coach, I wasn't always her biggest fan but as a person she is great."
