"(2/2)cared way too much about things that had nothing to do with football because of the "culture" he was trying to build. I agree with one of the previous posts saying he has no individualism. It felt as if every offseason he would read a different coaching book which he'd use quotes from. Not all his fault the program sucks, but he doesn't help."

"(1/2): Rob is either delusional or is just lying through his teeth. I think he cares about the program and *most* players, but that simply isn't enough to overcome the weaknesses of the program. I agree that he does a good job of finding jobs for his players. Other than that I disagree with most of the posts on here. The program truly is a mirage. "

"The worst move they could have made was making Sgar the head coach. The athletics department doesn't care about football, which is probably why they chose him as head coach. He will always fall in line and do whatever they say. Their football program is merely a mirage, they have it because it looks good on paper, they couldn't care less about it. "

"After reading all these other comments, I can tell that the members who posted them either work for Georgetown or were some soft/wealthy player from the NE. Robby boy seems to really enjoy the feeling of losing, He has no style or sense of individualism as a coach. He is merely a mitch match of quotes that he has stolen from other great coaches. "

"Coach definitely takes the time to look out for certain guys on the team and makes sure that they are taken care of. One piece of advice... if you are interested in getting something from him or his support make sure to constantly politely remind him since he is juggling so many things. Proud to have been a hoya. "He is a players coach for sure. He understands that there is more than just football when attending a university like Georgetown. He makes an effort to stay on top of his students classes and work. The only downside is he can tend to look too deep into minor details. Yet, his strongest accolade is that he is very determined to get his players a job once they graduate, that is a major part of the equation when playing for Sgarlata. He wants you to have a job when you graduate from Georgetown."
