"Eva is fine at the soccer part of coaching but the personnel part of coaching is bad. I was on the team during its most successful seasons but the vibes on the team were horrible due to the abhorrent favoritism Eva shows that allowed members of the team to basically bully other players. Eva will say one thing to you and then do the complete opposite. She is nice for the most part and willing to talk to players, but her favoritism prevails throughout all aspects of the team. A lot of practices during my time were inefficient and a lot of bench players watching starters do drills. Wesleyan is a fantastic school, but for many I know, Eva negatively impacted the soccer part."

"Kim is one of the best coaches I’ve ever had. She found the right balance of knowing when to push me and when to be a support system. She really embraces Wesleyan and the unique culture. She is always willing to work and talk with players, and acts as a support system at school. She also has created a culture of hard work, heart and fun that made my college experience all the better. Even after graduating, I still have a good relationship with Kim and know I’ll always have her in my corner."

Despite some assistants being part-time, the dedication and love they show for the program make it feel like they’re full-time. We are incredibly fortunate to have a coach of his caliber at this level, especially considering his many responsibilities on campus beyond coaching. Anyone lucky enough to play under Coach Raba will undoubtedly have an unforgettable and positive experience."

"Dishonest, lack of caring, lack of and warped communication, zero leadership, soccer knowledge and bringing the team together. The communication there is, which is close to zero, is twisted and makes players think if they meet practice goals and expectations that they will see playing time- which doesn’t happen and with no communication. Misleads players, and the nepotism is infuriating, as well as family friends and the son’s roommate play. All get max playing time despite the performance or having to earn and put in time. He yells at players to shut up and to not speak to him. No open door policy. No trying to make a player, the team, the camaraderie better. Awful treatment of and ignoring of seniors is shocking and mean. Mentally messes with the boys and bullys them. And unfortunate because he has a great team of players and could be doing so well in the conference. Wesleyan is a great school otherwise, but if you are looking for a quality, fulfilling D3 soccer experience, I’d look elsewhere. "

"If you’re a brainwashable, naive international student, then you’ve probably been recruited by coach fried. He just wants to win, not develop players. He recruits international students, taking spots away from deserving tax-paying American students. He used to supply underage students with alcohol to host parties for recruits. He’s a Wall Street man - operating on the idea that student athletes are transactional - if you’re not performing, he’ll give your spot away without trying to help you. He doesn’t know how to coach, he just tries to recruit the best players (even if that means going to Hong Kong)… "
